The Alberta Express Entry Stream is designed to allow the province of Alberta to nominate eligible candidates from the Government of Canada's Express Entry pool. Candidates who meet the necessary requirements may be selected through either random draws or an expedited tech route if they are highly skilled tech workers.
Overview of Alberta Express Entry If you have strong ties to Alberta or can contribute to the province's economic development and diversification goals, you may qualify for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (formerly known as the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program or AINP). Being nominated by a Canadian province or territory can earn you an additional 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) and an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in the next draw from the Express Entry pool.
